Can I use my Gloucestershire County Council Library Service card?
Minchinhampton Community Library is connected to the Gloucestershire County Council Libraries system, so you will need to be a member of Gloucestershire Library Service in order to borrow books & DVDs and use the computers.
How do I join the Gloucestershire Library Service?
Full membership is open to anyone who lives, works or studies in Gloucestershire. You can join online at Join the library – Gloucestershire or, if you come into the library, a volunteer will help you to complete the process. You will need to bring with you proof of identity.
Can I return books that I borrowed from other Gloucestershire county libraries?
We accept the return of books from any Gloucestershire county library.

For how long can I use the computers?
You can use the computers for up to 2 hours without charge if you are a library member. Otherwise there is a charge of £1 per hour.

Can I donate books to Minchinhampton Community Library?
Please do! We welcome donations, however we need books in good condition and not too old. Books should be not older than two years, although we can make exceptions.
We DO NOT ACCEPT, annuals, CDs, magazines, old tired books!!
Books that we accept, will either be put into our library system and available to borrow, or be sold to contribute to library funds.
