Drop off your empty blister packs at the library
Minchinhampton Community Library’s Medicine Blister Pack Recycling Scheme is now live.
Blister packs unfortunately can’t go in your home recycling collection, but can still be recycled. They’re made up of plastic and other materials, and plastic packaging in the UK accounts for nearly 70% of our plastic waste, so it’s worth doing! Boots and Superdrug Pharmacies offer a route for recycling from their Stroud branches, but there’s nothing else close to home.
If you have empty medicine blister packs you can drop them off at the Library during opening hours and save yourself the journey to Stroud.
