For the first time, we are having a ‘Wildwood Odyssey’ for children 7 years and older (with their grown-ups) in the library.
Taking inspiration from our local common and woodland, children will work with local musician and songwriter, David Powell to create a ‘soundscape’ folk story.
Children will use words, sounds and music to develop the story.
Percussion instruments will be provided, and children are invited to bring their own instruments if they wish.
When: Thursday 24th August 2.00pm – 4.00pm
And remember, attending this session goes towards the Library Challenge!
You’ll get a sticker and if you make sure you bring your journal along, you’ll get it stamped.
